Recovery House:
Public Inebriate Program

To provide an alternative for those detained by the police for public intoxication who would otherwise be placed in protective custody at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.

Services

Initial screening for appropriateness of placement in a safe bed. Once placement is determined individuals who stay are monitored frequently for their safety and released when their blood alcohol content is at or below a .08 and they are over the age of 21. If they are under the age of 21 their blood alcohol content is to be at or below a .05. Individuals who remain at Grace House as well as those who are sent to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility, are educated on services available and encouraged to continue with services at the level appropriate to their needs.
