Central Vermont Substance Abuse Services (CVSAS)

CVSAS provides outpatient clinic support to people with a wide range of substance abuse and their families. We support adults and adolescents in the greater Washington County region.

CVSAS provides a continuum of outpatient services that is individualized for the person presenting an addiction and their families.  CVSAS has been a “Preferred Provider” of services for the Department of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs since 1996.  In our outpatient clinic we provide individual and group support to people at various stages of change as they work to gain control of their disease.  We screen and assess each individual, taking the results of these evidence based practice tools we work with you to create a plan of action that works with the clients own goals and recommendations from the clinical perspective.  We are able to contour our services to those struggling with all varieties of substance from alcohol to opiates and heroine and those that present with several drugs of choice.
