The Chittenden Clinic HUB now has two locations and provides Medication Assisted Treatment (methadone or buprenorphine). We provide professional, confidential, evidenced based counseling and pharmacotherapy to adults who are opioid dependent. The Clinic is an outpatient, CARF accredited, medically oriented program that offers many supportive wrap around services.
As there is a waitlist for treatment, individuals must call the referral line (802 488 6450 #1) and complete an over the phone referral to get on the waitlist.
Once an individual has completed the intake assessment and is accepted into treatment, a counselor will be assigned, a treatment plan will be developed and the patient will work toward achieving identified goals. Maintenance on methadone or buprenorphine will be monitored as will the use of other substances through frequent drug screens. On site case managers or clinicians will assist in connecting individuals with needed services whether it be housing, insurance, employment, transportation, daycare, 12 step programs, etc. Patients will be eligible for take home medication once stabilized and working toward achieving identified goals. All services are outpatient and require a commitment to sobriety. In addition to substance abuse counseling, we will provide counseling to those with mental health issues or refer to other community providers if necessary. Consultation is provided by our medical team to those physicians who are working with individuals who may need more supportive care.
Our treatment program is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We serve individuals eighteen years of age and older.
